Dr. Sadaty provides individualized, personalized medical care that focuses on discovering the underlying factors that cause illness and uncomfortable symptoms.
Attention: Covid-19 / CoronaVirus
As we take precautions to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, we kindly ask all patients and families to follow recommended safety protocol:
If you or a family member feels sick or has some mild flu-like symptoms (cough, trouble breathing, fever), please do not show up at our office unannounced. Instead, CALL 516-801-1313.
If a patient does arrive at our office with any flu-like symptoms, we will kindly ask them to reschedule.
Please immediately wash your hands when you arrive for your appointment. We would like to inform all families that we have always practiced “Universal Precautions” in our practice. This includes disinfecting all surfaces that we or our patients come into contact with. All instruments are heat and steam sterilized in an autoclave device, and all non-sterilizable items are discarded after a single use. Our sterilization procedures are designed to eliminate the cross-contamination of infectious agents that are much more virulent.
In addition, we deal with a very healthy patient population, unlike a hospital, nursing home, or even your private physician’s office. The chances of encountering an infected patient is statistically less in our office than at school or while out shopping at the mall.
We will continue to update our patients as the situation surrounding the Coronavirus evolves. As always, if you have any questions, please call our office at 516-801-1313.
We appreciate your assistance during this unprecedented time.
If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. Emergency warning signs include:
» Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
» Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
» New confusion or inability to arouse
» Bluish lips or face
Please Note: This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.

What’s The Difference Between Functional Medicine and Conventional Medicine?
In conventional medicine, there is a specialist for every part of your body. This compartmentalization of body systems results in a more disjointed approach to addressing disease, with one doctor focusing on solely one body system and not addressing the patient in a holistic manner.
When we create these artificial divisions, we lose sight of the body as an interconnected whole and we fail to understand how different imbalances in different systems may actually all be related to a common underlying cause. Treatment then becomes based on the presenting symptom and not the cause of the symptom.
Functional Medicine provides individualized, personalized medical care that focuses on discovering the underlying factors that cause symptoms and affect your health.
